Cardi-OH
Since the Fall of 2019, I have been at Cardi-OH — a non-profit cardiovascular and diabetes health collaborative housed within the Case Western Reserve School of Medicine. Cardi-OH aims to reduce health disparities within Ohio, with a particular focus on Medicaid recipients. On a monthly basis, Cardi-OH creates topical long documents, informative podcasts, annual webinars, and runs a twice a year TeleECHO clinic. As the creative and content design manager, I guide all brand development; website design, advertisements, publication layouts, and more. All artwork and graphics are created by me.
When I joined Cardi-OH, despite having a team of content experts who produced exceptional content, there was no brand with which to bring their content to life in a meaningful way.
I decided to set Cardi-OH apart from other online medical associations, which often featured generic stock photographs of doctors in white coats, by creating a bright, cheerful brand that primarily uses graphic illustrations. These visuals helped to enhance the documents’ readability while also contributing to the brand's overall aesthetic.
